Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers our website (marblesend.com), the license verification service that MarbleSend installations contact (the "License Server"), and the emails you send us. It does not cover the data inside your own MarbleSend installation.

2. Your MarbleSend installation

MarbleSend is self-hosted software. Your contacts, campaigns, templates and settings live on the server you install it on. We do not receive them and cannot access them.

MarbleSend does not include hidden telemetry or usage tracking. An installation only contacts our servers to activate a license, to re-check it periodically and to check for updates.

You decide why and how you email your own subscribers, so you are responsible for the legal basis, consent and compliance of that processing. MarbleSend provides tools that help (double opt-in, data export and deletion), but it is a toolkit, not a legal certification.

3. Data we process

• Website visits: our hosting provider records technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) to deliver and secure the site. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Your theme and language choice are stored only on your device.
• Third-party resources: the marketing pages load no third-party fonts, scripts or styles. When you pay, you are sent to the payment provider's own page, which handles your data under its own privacy policy (see below). Only if a payment is completed in an overlay on our checkout page does that page load the provider's script, and then the provider can see your IP address.
• License verification: the Purchase Code or License Key (stored only as a keyed hash), the domain of the installation, product, version, tier and status, a buyer reference supplied by the sales channel (such as an email address or username), and technical logs (IP address, user agent, event and result).
• Purchases: payments are handled by our payment provider (see below). We receive order details such as email, country, product and transaction ID so we can issue your License Key and support you. Purchases made through Envato are handled by Envato, which gives us the Purchase Code and buyer username.
• Support: the messages and attachments you send to hello@marblesend.com.

If you use an optional paid service that we operate, the data needed to provide it (for example your balance and the requests you submit) is processed by us and our infrastructure providers. Each such service is described before you can buy it.

4. Why we use it

• To provide and verify licenses (performance of our contract with you).
• To keep the website and License Server secure and to prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized license sharing (legitimate interests).
• To answer support requests and to keep records the law requires.
• Consent, only where the law requires it and we ask for it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use these providers:

• Payment providers: for purchases on our website, the provider named at checkout (for example Paddle or Dodo Payments, as Merchant of Record) collects and processes payment and billing data under its own privacy policy.
• Envato: for purchases made on CodeCanyon.
• Cloudflare: website hosting and delivery, and the infrastructure the License Server runs on.
• Our email provider: to receive and send support email.

We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where the law requires it, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer.

7. Retention

• License records: for as long as the license exists, plus the time needed for support, accounting and legal obligations.
• License Server technical logs: 180 days.
• Support emails: as long as needed to help you and to keep necessary records.
• Payment providers and Envato keep order data under their own policies.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy of it. Email hello@marblesend.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We use HTTPS and store license credentials only as keyed hashes. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children and changes

Our website and software are not directed to children. We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
